Where is cosmopolis coffee available?

Cosmopolis Coffee is available online in the United States.

How do I close cosmopolis bags and keep the coffee fresh?

To avoid unnecessary waste, Cosmopolis Coffee does not come with the plastic ties or zippers typically used on coffee bags. Instead, once the bag is opened, we recommend you fold the bag down tightly to expel air from the bag, and then secure with a rubber band or clip. Alternatively, you can store in an airtight container. Keep the coffee in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.  

how much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

We currently offer a $6 flat rate for Ground Shipping and FREE shipping on all coffee orders $50 and above.

We strive to ship all orders for Pre-roasted coffee within 24 hours, and within 72 hours for Roast to order coffee. Please allow an additional 24 hours over the weekend.

Your coffee should arrive between 2 and 5 business days from shipment.

how do i dispose of cosmopolis coffee shipping PACKAGES?

Cosmopolis Coffee is delivered in biodegradable boxes with biodegradable labels. These are accepted in most curbside recycling programs in the United States. Just remove the tape, which can be put in the trash, and put the boxes out for recycling.

How do I dispose of cosmopolis coffee bags?

Cosmopolis Coffee comes in Biotré 1.0 bags that are 60% made of renewable wood pulp, which is home compostable, and 40% Polyethylene with an additive designed to make it disintegrate significantly faster than standard plastic.

Do not dispose of the bags in curbside composting. If you do home composting, we recommend you remove the valve and labels, which should be put in the trash, and then place the bag in your compost. After 12 weeks, remove any remaining non-composted material and throw it in the trash. If you do not do home composting, dispose of the entire bag in the trash.

We are continuously exploring new options for coffee bags with the ultimate goal of using 100% compostable/recycled/recyclable materials. Check this space!

What is your return policy?

Because of the perishable nature of roasted coffee, we do not accept returns. However, if your coffee arrives damaged we will be happy to ship you a replacement.
